Mag News

After  download Free theme from Rigorous Theme, you can choose either of the approaches given below to install your theme:

From Administration, Panels go to Appearance > Themes.

1. Select Add New.
2. Then, select Upload Theme.
3. Click Browse. Locate Mag News .zip theme in your computer.
4. Select Mag News.zip and click Install Now.

You can use FTP client like FileZilla to connect your web server.

1. Unzip Mag News.zip to your Desktop.
2. Using an FTP client to access your host web server, go to /wp-content/themes/ and upload your new copy of Mag News theme.
3. Now, log into the WordPress Dashboard with your login details.
4. Select the Appearance panel, then Themes.
5. You will see the theme in the list.
6. Then, click Activate button.
7. Now, the theme will be activated and go through the following options to set up the theme step wise.

After Activating Theme, you will see the notice offering you to install required plugins.

Click “Begin installing plugins”, on the screen that appears, next select the plugins you want to be installed, pick “Install” in Bulk Actions select box and click “Apply” button. For optimal user experience install and activate all recommended plugins.

Steps to import demo data:

1. Navigate Through  Appearance > Import Demo Data.
2. You will get all the demo available:
3. Click on the Import and follow the process.

Step to Add New Post

1. Go to Post, Click Add New.
2. Add Title, Content, Feature Image and Categories.
3. Click on Publish.

Step to Add New Page

1. Go to Page, Click Add New.
2. Add Title, Content and Feature Image.
3. Click on Publish.

From the Customize section, go to Site Identity. You will see a various option.

1. Logo: Main logo of the site.
2. Site-title: Main site title of the site.
3. Tagline: Tagline (i.e:Description) of the site.Just below site title.
4. Choose Option:
   • Logo only: This option helps you to enable logo only.
   • Logo + Title: This option helps you to enable logo and Title.
   • Logo + Tagline: This option helps you to enable logo and tagline only.
   • Title Only: This option helps you to enable logo only.
   • Title + Tagline: This option helps you to enable logo only.
5. Display Site Title and Tagline: This option helps you to disable and enable Site Title and tagline in your site.
6. Site Icon: Site Icon is used as a browser and app icon for your site.

From the Customize section, go to Color Setting. You will see the following option:

1. Background Color: Choose background color using this option for your website.

From Customize section, go to  Header image. From Header Image, you will have these options:

1. Header Image This changes the header image.
2. Choose Option: You can choose the header like the following option.
   1. None :  You can select no image in the header image.
   2. Header Image: You can select one Herder image for all page/post.
   3.  Featured Image: You can select featured image as headerd image for all post.
3. Enable Header Title: This option Help you to enable/disable Header title.
4. Enable Post Meta: This option Help you to enable/disable Post Meta.

From Customize section, go to  Background image. In Background Image, you will have these options:

1. Background Image: This option help you to set background image of your website.
2. Preset: This option helps you to set preset option.

From Customize section, go to Theme Options.In Theme Options you will see:

From Customize section, go to Theme Options > Categories Color Setting. In Categories Color Setting you will get all the categories color option.

From Customize section, go to Theme Options > Header Setting. In Header Setting you will see:

1. Enable Top Header: This option helps you to enable/disable top Header.
2.  Enable Top Header Image: This option helps you to enable/disable Top Header Image.
3.  Enable Header Absolute: This option helps you to enable/disable absolute Header in inner page of your website.
4. Top Left Header Option: This option helps you to select Left header Option.
5. Top Right Header Option: This option helps you to select Right header Option.
6. Address: This option helps you to edit the address in your site.
7. News Ticker Title: This option helps you to edit News ticker title.
8. Select Category: This option helps you to select the category for News ticker title.
9. Upload an Advertisement Image: This option helps you to select an advertisement Image in your site.
10. Advertise Image Link: This option helps you to put link on image advertisement.

From Customize section, go to Theme Options > Blog Setting. In Blog Setting you will see:

1. Sidebar Layout Options: Here you get sidebar layout options.
   1. Right Sidebar: This option helps you to set Right sidebar in your site.
   2. Left Sidebar: This option helps you to set Left sidebar in your site.
   3. No Sidebar: This option helps you to set no sidebar in your site.
2. Enable Author: This option help you to enable/disable Author.
3. Enable Posted Date: This option helps you to enable/disable Posted date.
4. Enable Comment Count: This option helps you to enable/disable comment count.
5. Blog Layout: Here you will see the blog layout for the site.
   1. Full Width:  This option helps you to set full-width blog layout in your site.
   2.  List Alternate: This option helps you to set alternate list Blog layout in your site.
6. Pagination Options: Here you will see Pagination options for your site.
   1. Default: This option helps you to set Default pagination in your site.
   2. Numeric: This option helps you to set numeric pagination in your site.

From Customize section, go to Theme Options > Single page/post setting. In Single page/post setting you will see:

1. Enable Author Info: This option helps you to enable/disable Author Info.
2.  Enable Featured Image: This option helps you to enable/disable Featured Image.
3. Enable Single Title: This option helps you to enable/disable Single Title.

From Customize section, go to Theme Options > General Setting.In General Setting you will see:

1. Enable Pre Loader:This option help you to enable/disable Pre Loader.
2. Enable  Home Content:This option help you to enable/disable Home Content.

From Customize section, go to Theme Options > Footer Setting.In Footer Setting you will see:

1. Copyright Text: This option helps you to edit copyright Text.

To create menu, you need to go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Menu . OR You need to create menu from Customize  > Menus > Create Menu .You can create more menus in similar way.After creating menu you have to set the Location.

Widgets are one of the most important aspects of this theme. Ten special widgets are specially built for the front page so that most of your content can be categorized easily and be accommodated to feature in the front page.

1. From Customize section, go to Widgets.
2. From Widgets, you will see different sections to add widget where you will be able to Add a Widget or Remove widgets by going to a particular widget section.
3. And the added widget will be displayed in a particular section that you have added.
4. Note: Make sure to add proper widgets in proper widget area for the best result.
