ONLINE NEWS PRO

After you purchase and download your theme from Theme Palace you can choose either of the approaches given below to install your theme.

1. Log in to the WordPress Administration Panels.
2. Select the Appearance panel, then Themes.
3. Select Add New.
4. Then select Upload Theme.
5. Click Browse Locate online-news-pro.zip Theme in your computer.
6. Select online-news-pro.zip and click Install Now.

You can use FTP client like FileZilla to connect your web server.

1. Unzip online-news-pro.zip to your Desktop.
2. Using an FTP client to access your host web server, go to /wp-content/themes/ and upload your new copy of Online News Pro  Theme.
3. Now, log into the WordPress Dashboard with your login details.
4. Select the Appearance panel, then Themes.
5. You will see the theme in the list.
6. Then click Activate button.
7. Now the theme will be activate and go through the following options to set up the theme step wise.

The demo is divided into different section as shown in the image below:

The different sections are described below:

1. Site Identity and Primary Menu Section: The Site Identity section is setup from Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Site Identity , for Primary Menu section you need to create a menu and assign its location to Primary Menu going to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Menus / Menu Location. To make the Breaking News appear as in the demo you have go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Theme Options / Header Settings and chose layout 2 from option Header layout Refer below How to manage Site Title, Logo, Tagline and Site Icon? , How to manage Menus? and How to manage Header Setting ? for more detail.
2. Slider Section: This section is setup from Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Home Sections Options / Slider Setting. To show the slider as in the demo go to Admin Panel / Appearance /Customize / Home Section Options / Slider Setting and chose Layout 2 from Home Slider Layout . Refer below How to manage Slider Setting? for more detail.
3. Online News Section 1 : This section is setup from Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Home Sections Options / Online News Section 1 For the widget to appear as in the demo place the widgets in News Section 1: Breaking News and News Section 1: Sidebar widget area . 4. Online News Pro Section : This section is setup from the widget . For this place the image widget in Section 1 Advertisement widget area .
5. Online News Section 2: This section is setup from Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Home Sections Options / Online News Section 2 For the widget to appear as in the demo place the widget in News Section 2: Sidebar widget area . Footer Section : To setup this section you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Theme Options / Footer Settings. For the menu you need to assign the menus in the Menu locations Footer menu and footer top menu . 1. From Customize section, go to Site Identity.
2. From Site Identity, you will be able to add various options related to site identity like:
Logo ( Only available in WordPress version greater than or equal to 4.5 ): It changes the main logo of the site.
Site Title: It changes the main site title of the site.
Tagline: It changes the tagline (i.e:Description) of the site.Just below site title.
Display Site Title and Tagline: It allow to enable and disable the Site Title and Tagline.
Site Icon: The Site Icon is used as a browser and app icon for your site.Icon must be square, and at least 512px wide and tall.

2. From Colours Options, you will see Header Text Colour & Background Colour Options sections.

• Header Text Colour: Select the color available in the options.
  If the preview is fine, click on Save and Publish to apply recently selected Header Text Colour.
• Background Colour: Select the color available in the options.

• Read More : You can change text if you want to use other than “Read More”.
• Disable Post meta in archive page:This Options allow you to enable/disable post meta in archive.
• Disable Releated Posts in Single Page: This option displays/hide related posts in single page.
• Excerpt Length: Select number of words to display in excerpt.

To update Theme though FTP, follow these basic steps:
Download the latest version of Online News Pro from your Theme Palace member My-Account to your Desktop
Unzip online-news-pro.zip to your Desktop
Using an FTP client to access your host web server, go to /wp-content/themes/ and upload your new copy of Online News Pro Theme which shall replace the old files.
