RT Portfolio Pro
After you purchase and download your theme from Rigorous Theme, you can choose either of the approaches given below to install your theme:
From Administration Panels go to Appearance > Themes.
- Select Add New.
- Then, select Upload Theme.
- Click Browse. Locate My Portfolio Pro.zip theme in your computer.
- Select My Portfolio Pro.zip and click Install Now.
You can use FTP client like FileZilla to connect your web server.
- Unzip My Portfolio Pro.zip to your Desktop.
- Using an FTP client to access your host web server, go to /wp-content/themes/ and upload your new copy of My Portfolio Pro theme.
- Now, log into the WordPress Dashboard with your login details.
- Select the Appearance panel, then Themes.
- You will see the theme in the list.
- Then, click Activate button.
- Now, the theme will be activated and go through the following options to set up the theme step wise.
After Activating Theme,you will see the a notice offering you to install required plugins.
Click “Begin installing plugins”, on the screen that appears, next select the plugins you want to be installed, pick “Install” in Bulk Actions select box and click “Apply” button. For optimal user experience install and activate all recommended plugins.
Steps to import demo data:
- Navigate Through Appearance > Import Demo Data.
- You will get all the demo available:
- Click on the Import and follow the process.
The different sections are described below:
- Site Identity and Primary Menu Section: The Site Identity section is setup from Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Site Identity and for Primary Menu section you need to create a menu and assign its location to Primary Menu going to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Menus / Menu Location.Refer below Site Identity? - Banner Setting and progress bar : This section is setup Customize .So you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Front Page Options /Banner Setting and set the Banner Refer below Banner setting? for more detail.
- About Setting and counter : This section is setup Customize .So you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Front Page Options /About Setting and set the about us and counter. Refer below About setting? for more detail.
- Service Setting : This section is setup Customize .So you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Front Page Options /Service Setting and set the service section. Refer below Service setting? for more detail.
- Portfolio Setting : This section is setup Customize .So you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Front Page Options /Portfolio Setting and set the portfolio. Refer below Portfolio setting? for more detail.
- Testimonial Setting and partner : This section is setup Customize .So you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Front Page Options /Testimonial Setting and set the testimonial and partner. Refer below testimonial setting? for more detail.
- Team Setting : This section is setup Customize .So you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Front Page Options /Team Setting and set the team. Refer below Team setting? for more detail.
- Blog Setting : This section is setup Customize .So you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Front Page Options /Blog Setting and set the blog. Refer below Blog setting? for more detail.
- contact Setting : This section is setup Customize .So you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Front Page Options /contact Setting and set the contact. Refer below contact setting? for more detail.
- Footer Setting : This section is setup theme options .So you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / theme Options /Footer Setting and set the copy rite part enable social menu and for Social Menu section you need to create a menu and assign its location to Social Menu going to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Menus / Menu Location. Step to Add New Post
- Go to Post,Click Add New.
- Add Title,Content,Feature Image and Categories.
- Cick on Publish.
Step to Add New Page
- Go to Page,Click Add New.
- Add Title,Content and Feature Image.
- Click on Publish.
From Customize section, go to Site Identity. You will see various option.
- Logo: Main logo of the site.
- Site-title: Main site title of the site.
- Tagline: Tagline (i.e:Description) of the site.Just below site title.
- Choose Option:
- logo only: This option help you to enable logo only.
- Title Only: This option help you to enable logo only.
- Title + Tagline: This option help you to enable logo only.
- Display Site Title and Tagline: This option help you to disable and enable Site Title and tagline in your site.
- Site Icon: Site Icon is used as a browser and app icon for your site.
From Customize section, go to Color Setting.You will see following option:
- Header Text Color: Choose Header logo text color using this option for your website.
- Background Color: Choose background color using this option for your website.
From Customize section, go to Header image.From Header Image, you will have these options:
- Header Image This changes the header image.
From Customize section, go to Theme Options > Header Setting.In Header Setting you will see:
- Enable Search:
From Customize section, go to Theme Options > General Setting.In General Setting you will see:
- Enable Author:
- Enable Posted Date:
- Pagination Options:
- Default: This option set default pagination in your website.
- Numeric: This option set numeric pagination in your website.
- Archive Page Content Options:
- : This option set full content in your website.
- Excerpt: This option set excerpt content in your website.
From Customize section, go to Theme Options > Footer Setting.In Footer Setting you will see:
- Powered By Text:This changes the copyright text and Powered By Text of Copyright content.
- Title:This changes title of social menu.
From Customize section, go to Front Page Options.In Front Page Options you will see:

- Banner Image Options:
- Default: This option help you to set default banner image.
- Slider: This option help you to set slider banner image.
- Upload a Background Image:
- Menu Title:This option allows you to set Menu Title.

- Sub Title:This option allows you to set SubTitle.
- Select Page:This option allows you to select page.
- Progress Bar Options:This option allows you to set Progress bar.
- Progress Bar Layout:This option allows you to set Progress bar layout.
- Full Width: This option allows you to set full width progress bar.
- Half Width:This option allows you to set Half width progress bar.
From Customize section, go to Front Page Options > About Setting . In About Setting you will see:
- Upload a Background Image:
- Menu Title:This option allows you to set Menu Title.
- Section Title:This option allows you to set Section Title.
- Intro page Title:This option allows you to set intro page Title.
- Select Page:This option allows you to select page.
- Timeline Options:This option allows you to set Timeline options.
- Counter Options:This option allows you to set Counter.
From Customize section, go to Front Page Options > Service Setting . In Service Setting you will see:
- Upload a Background Image:
- Service Menu Title:This option allows you to set Menu Title.
- Section Title:This option allows you to set Section Title.
- Select Category:This option allows you to select Category for your site.
- Select Number:This option allows you to select number of post for your site.
From Customize section, go to Front Page Options > Portfolio Section. In Portfolio Section you will see:
- Upload a Background Image:
- Portfolio Menu Title:This option allows you to set Menu Title.
- Section Title:This option allows you to set Section Title.
- Select Category:This option allows you to select Category for your site.
- Select Number:This option allows you to select number of post for your site.
- Portfolio custom gallery: To obtain this custom gallery you have to add image gallery in you post content.
After saving your content you will get this popup gallery.
From Customize section, go to Front Page Options > Testimonial Section. In Testimonial Section you will see:
- Upload a Background Image:
- Testimonial Menu Title:This option allows you to set Menu Title.
- Section Title:This option allows you to set Section Title.
- Select Category:This option allows you to select Category for your site.
- Select Number:This option allows you to select number of post for your site.
- Title:This option allows you to set partner title.
- Partner Logo Options:This option allows you to set partner logo.
From Customize section, go to Front Page Options > Team Section. In Team Section you will see:
- Upload a Background Image:
- Menu Title:This option allows you to set Menu Title.
- Section Title:This option allows you to set Section Title.
- Select Category:This option allows you to select Category for your site.
- Select Number:This option allows you to select number of post for your site.
From Customize section, go to Front Page Options > Blog Section. In Blog Section you will see:
- Upload a Background Image:
- Blog Menu Title:This option allows you to set Menu Title.
- Section Title:This option allows you to set Section Title.
- Select Category:This option allows you to select Category for your site.
- Select Number:This option allows you to select number of post for your site.
From Customize section, go to Front Page Options > Contact Setting. In Contact Setting you will see:
- Upload a Background Image:
- Contact Menu Title:This option allows you to set Menu Title.
- Section Title:This option allows you to set Section Title.
- Select Page: This option allows you to select page for contact.
- Call to Action: You can put the other contact information on Here.
- Google Map Address: You can put your google map iframe on Here.
From Customize section, go to Typography Options.In Typography Options you will see:

- Select Body Font Family:This option help you to set font family for body of your site.
- Body Font Size: This option help you to set font size for body of your site.
- Select Menu Font Family:This option help you to set font family for menu of your site.
- Menu Font Size:This option help you to set font size for menu of your site.
- Section Title Font Family:This option help you to set font family for section title of your site.
- Section Title Font Size:This option help you to set font size for section title of your site.
- Select Heading Tag Font Family:This option help you to set font family for heading of your site.
- H1 Tag Font Size:This option help you to set font size for heading of your site.
- Select Paragraph Font Family:This option help you to set font family for paragraph of your site.
- Paragraph Font Size:This option help you to set font size for paragraph of your site.
- Select Entry meta Font Family:This option help you to set font family for entry meta of your site.

From Customize section, go to Typography Options > General Setting. In General Color Setting you will see:
- Primary Color: This option help you to set Primary Color.
- Secondary Color: This option help you to set Secondary Color.
- Hover Color: This option help you to set Hover Color.
- Anchor Tag Color: This option help you to set Anchor Tag Color.
- Heading Color: This option help you to set Heading Color.
- Section Heading Color: This option help you to set Section Heading Color.
- Paragraph Color: This option help you to set Paragraph Color.
- Entry Meta Color: This option help you to set Entry Meta Color.
- Skill Bar Color: This option help you to set Skill Bar Color.
From Customize section, go to Typography Options > Header Color Setting. In Header Color Setting you will see:
- Header Background Color: This option help you to set Header background Color.
- Header Icon Color: This option help you to set Header icon Color.
- Menu Color: This option help you to set Menu Color.
- Active Menu Color: This option help you to set Active Menu Color.
- Menu Background Color: This option help you to set Menu Background Color.
From Customize section, go to Typography Options > Footer Color Setting. In Footer Color Setting you will see:
- Footer Background Color: This option help you to set Footer background Color.
- Footer Text Color: This option help you to set Footer Text Color.
To create menu, you need to go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Menu . OR You need to create menu from Customize > Menus > Create Menu .You can create more menus in similar way.After creating menu you have to set the Location.
From Customize section, go to Homepage Setting you will see two option.This option help you to set home page and blog page as your choice.
1. From Customize section, go to Reset all settings..
2. In Reset all settings you will see:
- Check to reset all settings to default: Check the Check to reset all settings to default and refresh the page to reset all theme settings to default.
